Fresh off a close to four-year hiatus, Frank Ocean is back in the limelight, more than his fans are used to. After releasing his Grammy-winning album Channel Orange in 2012, Ocean took some time off working on other passions leaving his fans yearning for more.

After teasing an album release for close to two years Ocean returned in August 2016, with not one but two albums.
Much to his fans delight, Ocean dropped a visual album titled Endless and preceded to drop his sophomore album Blonde the very next day.

Since this time, many of Ocean’s fans have been eager for new tracks to fill out playlists and this time Ocean is delivering. In the past month, Ocean has dropped a single titled “Chanel,” and collaborated with Migos on Calvin Harris’ track “Slide.”
Both of these tracks have earned major acclaim from fans and music critics alike, who seem to be impressed with a new side of Ocean that many were unfamiliar with.

Frank has also kept himself in the limelight with his Beats 1 Radio collaboration titled “Blonde Radio.” The first episode was vastly popular. With fans voicing their support on social media.

The first episode featured an interview with Jay-Z and a playlist of songs Ocean hand picked for listeners to tune into. The playlist included tracks from artists such as Kodak Black (“Tunnel Vision”) and old soul and doo-wop legends like The Isley Brothers.
In the past Ocean used a quiet demeanor and a mysterious Tumblr presence to communicate with his fans, but he seems to be changing it up now. With new singles dropping and his work with Beats 1, Ocean seems to be more comfortable with staying in the public eye between album releases.
